SAAFL Footy News
Welcome to SAAFL Footy News – your free online magazine brought to you by the South Australian Amateur Football League. We deliver all of the latest official news, views, features and images to inform and entertain you, and it’s right there with a “click” to turn the pages, and with another “click” to increase the font size after taking seconds to adjust.
SAAFL Footy News is presented twice weekly – Tuesdays and Thursdays – by a team of professional journalists and photographers, headed by SAAFL media manager Ashley Porter, who has won national and state awards for writing excellence and has many years of experience in football writing.
This free magazine is owned by SA amateur football – its 67 clubs – and it is proudly the first online magazine of its type in South Australian sport. And we want you to be involved … tell us what you want in your magazine and feel free to deliver your thoughts and your best pictures from the game you have just seen.
Importantly, all revenue from advertising goes directly back into the game. With SAAFL Footy News you know where your advertising dollar is going. Our advertisements are ridiculously low-priced because they not only help companies and small businesses who support the amateurs, but the players and their families who have their own business but generally cannot afford exorbitant advertising rates elsewhere.
SAAFL Footy News introduces its readers to people in the amateurs – the club administrators, coaches, players, support staff, and especially all of the characters in this great game. We give you the official word, and we care about amateur football no matter how high or low the division.
Click on "SAAFL Footy News" and welcome aboard. Capture the heart of South Australian amateur footy.
